Rising from the 70’s rock and punk scene on St. Marks Place, Trash and Vaudeville has been a terrific purveyor of alternative fashion for rockers, mods, punks, goths, rockabillies and everyday working-class heroes who just want to dress on the wild side.

The store was founded by Ray Goodman in 1975 after his love for rock ‘n’ roll inspired him to open a clothing store, which encompassed the energy, individuality and creativity of New York’s burgeoning counterculture.
