Wat Tham Krabok is a Buddhist temple located in the Phra Phutthabat district of Saraburi Province, Thailand. Founded as a monastery in 1957 by a Buddhist nun and her two nephews, it has achieved great acclaim for its efforts to provide refuge to Hmong refugees who had lost the Vietnam War and were attempting to escape the communist government ruling Laos. Additionally, Wat Tham Krabok also gained recognition for the drug rehabilitation program it established in 1959, through which over 100,000 heroin and opium addicts have been treated. The temple is now officially recognized as a temple by the Thai government, with Vichien Gitiwanno (Luang Por Vichien) as its abbot.
