I don't know if we are biased because we had this waterfall all to ourselves when we went but Gitgit was absolutely surreal!

This one wasn't even on our original must sees but we had a free day that we wanted to get out of our villa in Lovina and saw that it was only a 20 minute drive away. We cruised out around 4 pm because we wanted to go for sunset and the fact that there wasn't A SINGLE SOUL other than us blew us away since that is unheard of. Mind blown.

It was an easy 15 minute walk from the road and definitely the least strenuous out of all the falls we visited! Some local communities will ask if you want a guide down to the falls but it is totally up to you if you want to do that or not. We did however make a donation so that we could help support keeping the waterfall maintained and local families.

Something else to note is that you will get approached a lot on the way down to the falls by the locals selling all kinds of goods. It can be quite overwhelming at times so just be prepared.
