Just a short drive north from Canggu is Tanah Lot, a beautiful temple perched atop a rock just off the coast. At low tide you can walk across to the temple to explore it more. For a small donation you can be blessed by the locals who perform a traditional ritual using a natural spring that bubbles up at the base of the rock which is pretty special.

We then walked along the coastline a little as there are so many cool rock formations and little caves to explore!

You are also allowed to fly drones here with a 500,000 IDR donation (approx $30) which we felt was a fair price to really capture the beauty of the temple.

By 8.30am the tour buses arrived so like most places in Bali, we suggest getting there as early as possible!
