• Currency: Jordanian Dinar (JOD). 1 JOD ≈ $1.41 USD. (double check as exchange rates may vary)
• Cash is king: Especially outside Amman or for tips and small purchases.
• ATMs: Widely available in cities. Use major bank ATMs like Arab Bank or Cairo Amman Bank.
• Tipping is expected: Around 10% at restaurants, a few dinars for guides/drivers.
