Dinner at @weareedn_amsterdam honestly felt like finding one of those rare spots that works for almost every kind of night out. We came with the kids and immediately felt welcome. No awkward looks, no feeling like you have to rush through dinner, just genuinely warm hospitality. They even had colouring pencils and a proper kids menu ready, which instantly made the whole evening way more relaxed.

What I loved most is that it still feels stylish and elevated enough for a dinner with friends, date night or drinks. The interior is beautiful without trying too hard. Lots of warm colours, plants, cozy corners and huge windows overlooking the water near Central Station. It has that modern Amsterdam hotel restaurant vibe, but much more personal and inviting than you’d expect.

The menu is also surprisingly broad in a good way. Comfort food, seafood, burgers, steaks, vegetarian dishes, vegan options, cocktails, sharing plates… basically something for everyone without feeling all over the place. You can tell they really thought about making it a place where groups with completely different tastes can all enjoy themselves.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff was genuinely kind, and it’s one of those places where you end up staying longer than planned. Perfect after a day in the city with the family, but I could just as easily see myself coming back for cocktails and dinner with friends. Amsterdam honestly needs more places like this. ✨
