K Road is New Zealand's answer to “The Lanes” in Brighton. It’s Auckland's most eclectic and vibrant street, and I love coming here.

There’s so much to see and do, lots of shops to drop into, and an endless number of cafes, bars and restaurants serving up just about every kind of food you can imagine.

The street is lined with vintage shops, art galleries and op shops. If I’ve ever asked one of my friends where their second-hand clothes are from, 9/10 they’ll tell me they got them on K Road.

I’m not a big nightlight person (could you tell?), but if you are, K Road comes alive in the evening and there are plenty of bars and clubs that stay open until goodness-knows-what hour.
