Charlie Farley's is my favourite cafe/restaurant in Onetangi. If you’re planning on spending the day vineyard hopping around Waiheke, I recommend catching the hop-on, hop-off bus all the way from Matakatia Ferry Terminal to Onetangi and booking a table here for brunch or lunch. One, you’ll line your stomach (no one wants to be the person who is drunk or asleep on the ferry ride home). Two, it’s delicious - you can’t beat brunch on the beach.

I’ve been here on multiple occasions, and every time was as good as the last. They have a huge menu and serve everything from flat whites and eggs on toast to chicken wings, burgers, and cocktails.

They're open every day from 7 am. It can get very busy, particularly in the summer, so I’d recommend booking a table in advance if possible (essential if you’re travelling in a large group).
