Queenstown Gardens is a botanical garden located right next to the centre of Queenstown.

I must admit that I visited Queenstown three times before I made it to The Queenstown Gardens (I know, shocker). But now that I have, I can firmly say that the combination of stunning views and its accessibility makes it one of the best places to explore right in the heart of Queenstown.

For me, the best part of Queenstown Gardens was the lakeside walk, which hugs the perimeter of the park and gives you incredible views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. The loop track is flat and easy, perfect for watching the sunset or with a coffee first thing in the morning.
