The Boat Shed Cafe & Bistro is our go-to spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch in Queenstown. It boasts beautiful views of Lake Wakatipu, a cosy atmosphere and delicious food like blueberry french toast, chorizo egg scramble and burgers. They also have a huge range of drinks, from barista-made coffee to locally brewed beer and New Zealand's best sauvignon blanc.

How to get there

The Boat Shed is located five minutes from central Queenstown. You can drive towards Frankton and then turn onto Sugar Lane near the marina. When you arrive, you'll find a large carpark and then see the cafe right on the water's edge.

They're open Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 3 PM and Friday to Sunday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with an afternoon menu available from 3 PM. Bookings are recommended and can be made via phone, email, or Instagram.
