Nest Kitchen and Bar is located within the Kamana Lakehouse - one of Queenstown’s best luxury hotels.

I’m usually somewhat skeptical about hotel restaurants. They often seem overpriced and underwhelming, there solely for convenience rather than anything else. Well, Nest flipped that expectation on its head. Not only does it have incredible views, but their food, service and atmosphere make you feel like you’ve been transported into the cosy dining experience of your dreams.

The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner every day, but its hours change daily, so it's best to check in advance. If you’re staying at Kamana, I highly recommend coming here for breakfast!

For dinner, you’ve got a few options: à la carte, a 3-course set menu, or, if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, the degustation menu for a true foodie experience.

Nest Bar also serves “lounge food” (little bites designed for pre-dinner or late-night snacking), incredible cocktails, and a huge gin selection. My tip is to take one of these drinks to go and book an hour in one of their private hot tubs. Delish!
