Lake Lathe is a small but incredibly scenic lake near Franz Josef on the West Coast of the South Island. It's conveniently located off State Highway 6, which makes it the perfect place to sit and have your morning coffee, a picnic lunch, or stretch your legs as you drive up the West Coast. The lake itself is surrounded by gorgeous native bush, and on a calm day, you'll see a mirror-like reflection on the water!
