Tipsy Oyster in Paihia is a fun, lively restaurant and bar right across from the beach. They sell tapas, loaded burgers, platters full of Oysters and, of course, cocktails, cocktails and more cocktails.

I don’t think I know anyone who lives in the Bay of Islands and hasn’t been to Tipsy Oyster! Locals swear by this spot for Friday afternoon drinks, and if you walk past in the evening, it’s always buzzing.
