Silo Park is a much-loved spot in Wynyard Quarter, built around the iconic 35-metre Golden Bay cement silo and the ‘six-pack’ silos.

It offers views over Westhaven Marine, Auckland Harbour, and the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

One of my favourite ways to spend a lazy weekend in Auckland is to park/catch the bus to Silo Park and walk down by the waterfront into the city. In the summer months, Silo transforms into a humming event space and hosts events like Sail GP, summer concerts and artisan markets. You'll also find the beloved Silo Cinema, where movies are projected onto Silo7, creating an open-air theatre experience.
