In an area better known for huge old growth trees, the Fairy Lake Bonsai Tree offers something on the cuter side. This tiny tree, actually a small Douglas Fir, grows on a submerged log at the edge of Fairy Lake. Despite its name, it's not a true bonsai tree.

The Fairy Lake Bonsai Tree can be seen from Highway 14 but there is a small path leading through the trees down to the shore of the lake as well, if you want a closer look.
