If you have a sweet tooth, you simply must pick up some sweet treats at Ladysmith's Old Town Bakery. This charming cafe has a great choice of made-from-scratch pastries, breads, pies and cakes.

The bakery is best known for cinnamon buns, available in more than 7 flavours. I am not a huge fan of cinnamon buns (always too dry for me) but I LOVE these. The orange poppyseed is my favourite.

Beyond the sweet offerings, the Old Town Bakery is a much loved community hub. It always seems to be busy. There are savoury options too and inside seating. Don't miss it!
