The Cowichan Valley is home to around a dozen different wineries, Emandare Vineyard being a great example.

Emandare is an estate winery, meaning that all their wines are produced with grapes from the property. They have the oldest plantings of Sauvignon Blanc vines in the area. The Rosé wine is also popular.

Tastings are usually held at the bar with the owner, Mike. His passion for their wines is infectious! Drop-ins are welcome.

The winery also has a guest house, if you'd like to stay longer. It has vineyard views and plenty of space for four adults, even six if needed.
