Sooke Potholes is a unique spot, formed millions of years ago after the last ice age, with deep rock pools, waterfalls, and canyons.

It’s especially beautiful on sunny days when the water is crystal clear, and the rock pools are a favorite for swimming when it’s warm.

There are a few paid parking lots, each with access to trails, viewpoints, and beaches. The signs can be a little confusing, so I’d recommend parking in lot 2—it’s the easiest way to get to a great lookout over the gorge.
