This is by far my FAVOURITE restaurant in the whole of Zermatt, simply because of its spectacular views!

To come here, you will start from Sunnega, and then do a short 15-20 minute walk down to the hamlet of Findeln. There are plenty of gastronomic restaurants within this vicinity.

It is highly recommended that you book a reservation at Chez Vrony in advance because they are highly popular (especially during peak winter seasons) and it is unlikely you will be able to secure a seating during lunch hours via walk-in.

Once you're here, try to sit on their magnificent terrace facing the Matterhorn. That to me is the HIGHLIGHT of your dining experience! The burgers are highly recommended, as well as their modern interpretation of the Swiss Rosti. I also really liked their thirst-quenching, refreshing Eldelweiss cocktail.
