The enchanting Lakeside Christmas Market of Montreux is a must-see for anyone spending the holiday season in this beautiful Swiss city. With more than 150 chalet stalls, lovingly decorated and illuminated along one kilometre of Lake Geneva's shoreline, there's sure to be something for everyone. From sampling creamy local specialities and sipping spiced mulled wine, to browsing gift ideas and visiting Santa Claus on his flying sleigh - if you're looking for festive fun then look no further!

Note: The Montruex Christmas Market typically starts on November 25 and will end by December 23. It tends to be very crowded especially on weekend evenings. Do your best to start your visit early from 3 or 4pm to avoid the snaking crowds!
