Lugano Arte e Cultura (LAC) is a cool cultural hub in Lugano, Switzerland, where you can dive into music, art, and performances. Opened in 2015, this place is like a creative playground with art exhibitions, theatre shows, traditional and contemporary dance performances, and the events calendar is wonderfully curated with rich activities for families.

When i visited in June 2023, there was an excellent temporary photo exhibition featuring the works of Werner Bischof, a Swiss photographer who was born in Zurich in 1916 and died in Truijllo in Peru in 1954. The exhibition is developed through about 100 color digital prints from original negatives from 1939 to the 50s, restored for the occasion. It was absolutely captivating and some of the photos remains engraved in my memory to this date.

I highly recommend checking out this cultural hub when in Lugano. It's also a superb rainy day alternative!
