Est. Duration

3-4h

Activity level

Get ready for a breathtaking high-alpine adventure at McCullough Gulch, a trail that rewards every bit of effort with stunning scenery. You'll hike through forests and across granite fields to reach magnificent waterfalls and a pristine alpine lake, all with spectacular mountain views. The trail is rugged and steep in places, so be prepared for a good workout. Keep in mind that from mid-June to mid-September, you'll need to either reserve a parking spot or take a shuttle to the trailhead, as parking is very limited. From the drop-off point, it's about a 15-20 minute walk up the road to where the trail officially begins.
