Honister Slate Mine, located in Cumbria, England, is the last working slate mine in the country. Dating back to the late 17th century, it has a rich history of quarrying Westmorland green slate. In addition to its mining operations, the site has become a popular spot for adrenaline junkies!

They offer a ton of adventures including:

  • Mine Tours

  • Via Ferrata

  • Infinity Bridge

  • Climbing the Mine

  • A 30m Freefall

  • Canyoning

  • Working Mine Tour

Definitely worth it if you love adventure!
