Allmendhubel Alpen Playground (Flower Park)
Take the funicular from Mürren up to Allmendhubel, and you’ll find another one of the most magical alpine playgrounds in Switzerland. Nicknamed the Flower Park, it’s themed around giant alpine flowers, insects, and underground tunnels—turning the alpine meadow into a place kids will never want to leave.
The vibe: Creative, colorful, and surrounded by insane mountain views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Parents can chill on the terrace of the mountain restaurant while the kids play within eyesight.
What’s there: A giant flower slide, tunnels to crawl through, rope swings, climbing nets, and sand play areas. The design makes it feel like kids are shrunken down to bug-size in a whimsical alpine world.
How to get there: Ride the Allmendhubel funicular (about 4 minutes) from Mürren village center. The playground sits right next to the top station—no hiking required.
Tip: Pair the playground with the Flower Trail, a short, kid-friendly loop through alpine meadows that starts right there. It’s the perfect mix of play + gentle adventure.
👉 The Allmendhubel Alpen Playground is one of those rare spots where kids can play for hours while parents soak up bucket-list views—it’s worth the trip up to Mürren all on its own.
