Mürren

• How to get there: Two main ways—either take the cable car + mountain train combo via Grütschalp (BLM line), or ride the cable car from Stechelberg via Gimmelwald. Both are beautiful; the Stechelberg route is quicker.

• Why it’s worth it: The pace here is slower than Interlaken or Grindelwald, and the car-free charm makes it easy to explore with kids. It also connects to the Schilthorn for even bigger mountain adventures.
