Mürren to Allmendhubel Funicular

Right from the center of Mürren, you can hop on the little Allmendhubel funicular—a quick ride that takes you straight up to one of the best family spots in the Jungfrau region.

• The ride: It’s short and sweet (just a few minutes), but you climb nearly 500 meters in that time, trading chalets for alpine meadows.

• At the top (Allmendhubel, 1,907 m): You’ll find a huge adventure playground called the Flower Park, designed around giant alpine flowers, tunnels, and slides. There’s also a panorama restaurant with a terrace where parents can sip coffee while kids play, plus kid-friendly loop trails through the meadows.
