Mam Tor, also known as Mother Hill, is a prehistoric hill fort in Castleton, England. It was once home to Celtic settlements and offers stunning views of Hope Valley. You can still see the remnants of the fort's earthworks, including ramparts and burial mounds. It's only a 3 mile circular walk but you'll get some of the best views in the Peak District!
Getting here: Park at the Mam Nick car park. Follow the path alongside the road to a small gate and National Trust sign.
