The Caumasee Lift is the easiest (and most scenic!) way to reach Lake Cauma, one of Switzerland’s most famous turquoise lakes. 💦

Instead of hiking down the steep forest path, you can hop on this funicular-style elevator that glides smoothly through the trees and drops you right at lake level — a total win if you’re visiting with kids, strollers, or armloads of beach gear.

🚠 Good to know:

• The lift is free to ride, but there’s a fee to enter the swimming area at Lake Cauma during summer (around CHF 18 for adults / CHF 9 for kids).

• Runs daily during May–October (typically 9:00–18:00).

• Stroller and wheelchair accessible.

• It’s about a 5–10 minute walk from the Flims Waldhaus car park or bus stop to the lift entrance.
