This is a fun hidden gem I always bring family. Rita the Rock Planter is a wooden troll located near Victor, Colorado, created by artist Thomas Dambo. The hike to Rita starts at the lower parking lot and takes you through a scenic trail with beautiful mountain views. Along the way, you'll pass historic mining ruins and colorful birdhouses that lead you to the upper parking lot where Rita resides. The short .25-mile hike is not handicap accessible but offers a unique and fun experience for families, couples, and solo travelers looking to explore Colorado's hidden gems.
