Visiting Chicago was fun, but Joliet is where the magic of the Mother Road really sets in. This was the first place on our trip where the small town feel really started. This park is a perfect spot to pull over and read about Joliet's history! And while you're at it, you might as well grab some soft serve icecream from Rich & Creamy, an ice cream shop built in 1965, which is located in the park!
