If you’re traveling around Arizona, especially in areas like Sedona, you’ll likely encounter a roundabout. These circular intersections can confuse first time visitors and often cause traffic backups when drivers aren’t sure what to do.

Key rules to remember:

  • Traffic inside the roundabout has the right of way, unless otherwise posted

  • Cars trying to enter the roundabout must yield to cars already circulating in the roundabout

  • Always look for signs and lane markings so that you're in the correct lane for where you are going before entering the roundabout

Knowing these basics before you arrive will help you avoid unnecessary stress and keep traffic moving smoothly.
