Airport Road in Sedona is a short scenic drive that only takes about 5 minutes from the bottom to the top. Along the drive you’ll pass two major viewpoints: Airport Vortex (aka Airport Mesa Viewpoint and the Sedona Airport Overlook (both locations are pinned on this map separately for more info). If the sunset looks incredible and I want a last minute view, I’ll just drive up this road and loop around at the airport and then drive back down since the red rock panoramic views along the way are stunning!! It’s one of the quickest, easiest places to catch a breathtaking Sedona sunset.
