Hole in the Rock at Papago Park is one of Phoenix’s most popular sunset spots (like really popular) so expect to share the view with plenty of other people. The hike to the top is short and easy, about 0.3 miles round trip with some short steep elevation gain making it accessible for most. Even if it’s crowded, the surrounding park has tons of space to explore with additional trails, unique rock formations, and great photo ops. Plus the Desert Botanical Gardens is right next door making it easy to pair both stops into one afternoon!
