In my opinion, The Zion Mount Carmel Highway is one of the most scenic drives in the entire USA. It takes you through Zion National Park and connects Springdale to the eastern park entrance. The drive includes several long tunnels with dramatic reveals (if you are driving towards Springdale), switchbacks, and sections of red pavement that blend with the surrounding red rock cliffs.

This drive also provides easy access to popular hikes in the park like the Canyon Overlook Trail which is short and offers great views. Wildlife is common along the highway, so watch for deer and bighorn sheep!
