Marechiaro is a charming village nestled in the Posillipo quarter of Naples, Italy. Its name doesn't come from clear waters, but from their calmness. Back in the 1960s, Marechiaro was a hotspot for the dolce vita lifestyle, attracting Hollywood stars to its picturesque restaurants with stunning views of the Gulf of Naples. The village is famous for its "Scoglione" and the legendary Fenestella, where the inspiration for the iconic Neapolitan song "Marechiare" supposedly struck Salvatore Di Giacomo. Today, Marechiaro remains a hidden gem offering panoramic vistas of Naples, Vesuvius, the Sorrento Peninsula, and Capri.
