There's a short, easy 500-meter loop walk around the springs if you want to stretch your legs, and the whole area is pretty accessible. Just a heads-up: sometimes the springs close temporarily due to crocodile sightings, so it's a good idea to check the NT Parks website before you go.

Also, there are no camping facilities at Bitter Springs, but the nearby Jalmurark Campground in Elsey National Park is a solid option if you want to stay the night. It's a must-visit if you're in the area!
