Jurien Bay is the ultimate beachside escape on the Turquoise Coast, where you should absolutely book a tour to swim with friendly sea lions. This activity is still on my personal bucket list and if I ever do a second lap you bet I will be jumping straight in! Just a breezy 2.5-hour drive north of Perth along the Indian Ocean Drive, this town is a gem waiting to be explored.

I've heard nothing but amazing things about swimming with these adorable sea lions from fellow van lifers cruising along Western Australia's coast. The tours usually cost around $125.00, depending on which company you go with.

The Jurien Bay Marine Park is like a paradise for nature enthusiasts, stretching from Greenhead to Wedge Island. On one of these tours, you can cruise around its small islands and limestone reefs, and if you're lucky, catch a glimpse of the rare Australian Sea Lion. The snorkeling spots are top-notch, too!

Even if you're not keen on swimming with sea lions, Jurien Bay itself is a stunning spot to relax. Sink your toes into the soft white sand beaches and take a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters that stretch along this picturesque coastline.
