Crystal Cave, located in the Farcu mine in Apuseni Mountains, is a hidden gem that captivates visitors with its stunning natural beauty. The cave dimensions are not big; instead, it's famous for its impressive crystal formations, which sparkle and shimmer in the light, creating a magical atmosphere.

The visit includes about 200m of mine gallery and 100m of cave gallery. All rocky steps are equipped with stairs and metallic landings. The lights in the cave highlight the beautiful crystal formations. The touristic route ends with a balcony offering a overview of the speleological reservation.

Inside the artificial cavity, in one of the mine`s galleries, a small mining museum was arranged. You can find here exhibits of working methods in the Apuseni mines, as well as individual equipment of the miners.

After visiting the cave we suggest you walk the trail leading to Lazuri Gorges. You shall find indicators with the blue-dot marking sign. The length of the trail is about one hour. The path climbs along the hill behind the mine, through the beech forest. When coming out of the woods, you will be surprised by the spectacular view over the Lazurilor Gorges.
