In wintertime I rented some walking shoes at the Break Sokos Koli Ski resort and did an amazing guided tour through the area. The Break Sokos Ski resort is also a great place to stay if you want to explore this area. It's the oldest ski resort in Finland, with some great slopes. Despites it's age, the hotel offers renovated rooms, a modern wellness area and great scenic views from all corners of the hotel.
