Torr Head is one of the North of Ireland’s hidden gems. Located along a quiet stretch of the rugged coastline, it offers stunning views of the Irish Sea and, on clear days, the distant shores of Scotland. The drive out is along narrow, winding roads, but the scenery as you approach makes it all worth it.

At the top of Torr Head, you'll find a historic lookout tower, a reminder of the area’s past. This old watchtower once served as a lookout during times of war, and today it offers some of the best panoramic views on the coast. From here, you can look out over the cliffs as the sea crashes below and enjoy a peaceful, almost otherworldly atmosphere. If you're after a quiet spot to soak in Northern Ireland's natural beauty (and a bit of history), Torr Head is the place to be. Due to its location it is the closest part of the Island of ireland to Scotland, a very visible 13miles away across the water, Almost within touching distance!

Note: The road leading up to Torr Head can be tricky, so take your time and enjoy the views along the way.
