If you're looking for a place to see the monkeys in Bali from up close make sure to visit The Monkey Forest in Ubud. It's a nature reserve protected by the local community with over 700 long-tailed Macaques monkeys. It's a chance to see the monkeys in their natural habitat and snap some pictures.

Be cautious with your possessions as the monkeys may open your bags and take anything they can find. On my visits, I avoid wearing jewelry or carrying any bags.
