Waihi Falls, located in the Tararua District near Palmerston North in the Manawatu-Wanganui region of North Island, New Zealand, is a stunning waterfall. With an impressive 25 metre tall drop, Waihi Falls features a much wider span which makes it even more beautiful and picturesque. The clear water flows over a rough textured underlying cliff which can be experienced on the short but steep trail leading down to its base. With a mix of native bush and idyllic pastures surrounding the area, including patches of sheep, it's perfect for a little picnic or outdoor adventure
