If you have some extra time, this loop track is a great addition to your Hunua Falls visit 🌳✨.

The Cossey-Massey-Loop-Track begins at the Hunua Falls car park 🚗. You can either take the stairs to the right or continue straight ahead to start with the suspension bridge 🌉 and dam 🌊. Either way, the trail is beautiful and well-maintained. About halfway through, you'll find a lookout with stunning views over the lake 🏞️. Allow about 2.5 to 2.75 hours to complete the loop ⏱️.

'My favourite track to walk in Auckland. Full of climbs and descents through lush native bush. At 8.3km this can be completed in an easy 3hrs with a medium level of fitness. Good footwear, water, a raincoat, and a backpack are recommended as the weather can change quickly. Don't go out in your jandels. This track can be very busy on the weekends, best to go early before the crowds arrive.'
