If you have kids tagging along, they have options for that too! Located downtown near the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, I recommend renting the bikes for a few hours and biking all the way down and back from Kincaid Park (the entire Tony Knowles Trail). Along the way you'll have incredible views overlooking the inlet and mountain ranges and if you're lucky you might even run into some wildlife like moose and bears!
