If you're looking for somewhere different to stay just a few hours north of London then we highly recommend this place.

Wilding Airfield is a re-wilded WW2 airfield that is now home to a beautiful treehouse as well as small cabin. We stayed in the treehouse and absolutely loved it. It is seriously comfortable, inside boasts a shower/bathroom, kitchen/living room, stove and a double bed perched up on a platform above, all beautifully designed. Outside you have large decking with outdoor bath and your own pizza oven.

This is the perfect spot for a couples escape and if you have a little one the cabin is beautifully done too.

Pro Tip: If you are wanting to use the pizza oven grab ingredients from the near by Waitrose - also there is a great fire pit outside to cook on if the weathers on your side!
