Low Force may be the “little sibling” of High Force, but it is honestly one of the most beautiful and peaceful waterfalls in England. Located only a 5-7 minutes from Low Force Lay-by, it’s the perfect sunrise stop and far less visited than High Force.

Arriving before 9am often means you’ll have the entire place to yourself. The waterfall cascades over a series of ledges in a dramatic horseshoe formation, framed by woodland and open moorland views.

From here, you can cross the historic Wynch Bridge, offering beautiful angles of the falls and river and make your way to HIgh Force Waterfall.
