I've stayed in 80 different accommodation rooms, ranging from homestays to luxury resorts, and experienced over 40 different activities, including hikes and island-hopping day trips.

I prefer slow travel and supporting locally owned and operated businesses. So if you want advice on the less touristy things to do and see, I'm your girl!

Hi, I’m Katy, the creator behind What Katy Did Next.

I became obsessed with discovering Fiji after my first trip in 2022. Since then I have returned 13 times. I love slow travel, meeting people and checking out different accommodations - from homestays to luxury resorts.

Now, I also host small group adventures to some of my favourite places in the world. Designed for solo female travellers who want connection, culture, fun and some well-deserved “me time”.
