Hvítserkur, also known as the Troll of Northwest Iceland, is a stunning rock formation that juts out from Húnaflói Bay. Standing at 15 meters tall, it's covered in bird droppings and serves as a nesting ground for seagulls, shag, and fulmar. Some say it looks like a troll, while others think it resembles an elephant or a rhino. Regardless of what you see, Hvítserkur is a popular spot for photographers, especially during sunrise, sunset, or when the aurora borealis lights up the sky. It's located on Vatnsnes Peninsula, which is also known for its seal colonies. So if you're in the area, make sure to check out Hvítserkur and maybe catch a glimpse of some adorable seals too!
