The old stark red house stands by the harbor in Stykkishólmur, a small fishing town by the beautiful Breiðafjörður with it´s numerous islands. The house was originally built in 1867 by a prominent businessman as a private residence but was renovated and opened as a family run boutique hotel in 2012. The small hotel preserves its classic heritage while enhancing it with the best of modern design where the guest lounge is the heart of the hotel. There, our guests can relax with a drink, mingle with locals and other guests or browse through the small library. At our doorsteps are the towns three museums, it´s restaurants and galleries as well as the harbour.
