Skiffer Liuskaluoto is one of my favorite summer pizza spots in Helsinki. Located on the small island of Liuskaluoto, just a short 1-minute ferry ride from Merisatamanranta, this seasonal restaurant offers delicious "Liuska" pizzas—Skiffer's unique take on gourmet flatbreads.

The setting is very idyllic and you get to enjoy your meal on the terrace with panoramic views of the Helsinki archipelago. It's the perfect place relax and savor the innovative toppings on the pizzas like goat cheese and strawberries or chorizo and shrimp.

Good to know: Skiffer Liuskaluoto is open during the summer months, starting from May Day (Vappu) on May 1st, with opening hours from Wednesday to Sunday, weather permitting. The ferry departs from the HSS quay at Merisatamanranta, situated between Café Carusel and Kompassitori square.
